Using GitHub to host content and code

Using a GitHub repository to host content and code examples.

For years, I have used GitHub to host code examples. In January 2017, attempted to use it to host content too.

My “version 1” approach is to just put the content in the code example folder structure, as “md” (Markdown) files.

During the Winter 2017 term, I would like to test the usage of the GitHub Pages feature. It could be useful for me and/or for others.

Authoring

Visual Studio Code, for the iOS dev course.

Code generation

App (HTML5? or a server-based web app?) that would generate a set of markdown pages for a course, per teacher, per term.
