BTI220 assignment, final deliverable

This document describes what you need to do for the programming assignment’s final deliverable/part.

.

Deliverable/part 1 is due on Friday, August 9

The programming assignment‘s final deliverable/part is due on Friday, August 9, 2013, at 7:00am ET.

Compress/zip your project’s folder, and upload it by using the link in the Assignments area of My.Seneca (Blackboard).

This part of the assignment is worth up to 20 marks (of the 25 allocated to the programming assignment).

.

Expectations – what you need to do

Implement your content, and your features, from your ‘deliverable/part 1’ submission. (That is, you promised/committed to implement these, so do that.)

Also, make sure that you add (at least) the following forms.

.

HTML Forms

1. A “contact me” form

2. A “comment” form

.

More info about the “contact me” form

Assume that it will be processed by a web app

You can set the form action to one of the ‘form tester’ URLs you recently learned about

The form should have at least these input fields:

  • name / nickname
  • email address
  • a radio button group to indicate whether the user wants to receive a copy of the message/request
  • a checkbox group – or a multi-select list – to gather the user’s learning/topic needs
  • a multi-line text area for the user to enter/type a message

Some fields need ‘required’ validation (the ones that make sense)

When submitted (to the web app), the data package must include a date-and-time stamp value

.

Processed in the browser by JavaScript

Adds a “comment” to a list-of-comments user interface (on one of your web site’s pages)

The form should have at least these input fields:

  • name / nickname
  • email address
  • a multi-line text area for the user to enter/type a message

Some fields need ‘required’ validation (the ones that make sense)

When submitted (to the browser), the data package must include a date-and-time stamp value

The in-browser JavaScript code will add the comment – nicely/appropriately formatted – to the page

.
