As we continue our study of data access, we will use the Entity Framework designer, and create a new data model. We use it to get started with a “blog” component of the course’s programming assignment.


Prepare for today’s class

Textbook readings – we will use parts of the following today, and in the coming weeks:

Beginning ASP.NET 4 in C# and VB
Chapter 12, 13, 14
ASP.NET 4 Unleashed
Chapter 8 – 14, 32

Note: we will be using the Microsoft Entity Framework for data access.

In addition, you will use the posted notes, and the supporting MSDN reference material, to learn this week’s topic theme.
