Adding a Menu web server control

ASP.NET Web Forms technology offers us site navigation controls. Here, we will learn about the Menu web server control.

This brief post links to MSDN articles. There’s not much more I can add to them, so work your way through them to configure site navigation on your web site.

Your objectives

On your web site, you want to implement a menu (of links and/or functionality).

In addition, the menu contents must show only the choices that are available to the user, whether the user is authenticated or not. In other words, an authenticated user in the ¬†“member” role must be able to use menu choices for members. In contrast, an anonymous user must not be able to see those menu choices.
