Before the study week break, we got started with the full-function Core Data example app. Today, we’ll finish our study of the app and its concepts.

Learning objectives for today

There are three important learning objectives for today:

  1. Moving beyond a simple read-only Core Data app, to a read-write Core Data app
  2. Learning more about Core Data operations and managed objects
  3. Identifying, designing, and implementing a view controller re-use pattern

In addition to these three important learning objectives, there are two others:

  1. Learn about, and work with, navigation bar buttons
  2. Learn about, and use, selectors
