BTI420 Graded Work
The following lists the graded work for BTI420.
Please note that the list of graded work may change, and that it is your responsibility to know the current list of graded work.
Tests – two (2) in total:
- Test 1 – Written – worth 10% – during week 3
- Test 2 – On-computer – worth 15% – during week 7
Assignment (large-value):
- The assignment is due on April 10, 2012, at 6:00am ET; it is worth 30%
- On March 22, you will update your professor with a brief progress report, worth up to 5% (which is part of the grades available for the assignment)
- During the last week of classes, you will demonstrate your work to your professor in his office; this too is worth up to 5% (again, part of the grades available for the assignment)

Assignments (small-value hands-on lab exercises):
- There will be about five (5) of these, and all will total 15% of your final course grade
- Each lab exercise (which is like a small assignment) is done in-class or on your own time
- Links to the labs will be here (below), and on the class notes pages
- Lab 1 – bus tickets, interactive page – due Fri Jan 20
- Lab 2 – three-page web site, user controls – due Fri Jan 27
- Lab 3 – work with the web server file system – due Fri Feb 3
- Lab 4 – read-only data access with Entity Framework – due Fri Feb 10
- Lab 5 – ASP.NET App Services, read/write data access – due Mon Feb 20
Final exam:
- Check the Computer Studies exam schedule link (on the School of ICT web site) for date, time, and location (scheduled for Mon Apr 16 at 2:00pm ET, in T2108 and T2110)
- The written and on-computer final exam is worth 30% of your final course grade
- Check the course notes page for detailed information about the final exam
